Making the Art

My process is one of inspiration. One cut leads to the next, and their relationships develop over time as the story develops.

Here is an example of how my first piece developed.

These two guys came around…

And they went some places, and did some things.

And the skies opened in the distance…

They collected some things along the way…

And met with makers, saints and stayed…

To develop the friendships, and have some fun…

And who is she, now that I am done?

So far, I mostly work with white paper and when you see black, it is the absence of paper. In this piece, I left a fine filigree of paper behind. In others, I leave more breathing room.
