Pencast #1: Almost the end of a Hard Week

A curious mix of technology, art, creativity (well, I am a bit rusty), and thought… that’s what I think. I just purchased a new piece of tech called the LiveScribe Pulse, which can do tons of stuff. Here’s what the manufacturer is calling a “pencast,” but probably not in the sense they originally intended. ;) Hope you dig.

Well, I’m back to sketching for a bit while the movie coalesces. I’m happy to report that the flick is moving into the final stages of pre-production (finally!). Technical details conquered. Story arc is snapping into place firmly, and the characters are starting to reveal their intricacies, like new friends – welcome and full of potential.Please enjoy pencil and ink glimpses of the other things flowing from my fingertips. A Sharpie glides much more freely than an X-Acto knife. The resistance offered by the knife passing through paper and the cutting mat allows me to cut more deliberate lines. Outside of that, I still enjoy drawing in my cut paper style.
