While listening to Radiohead’s Hail to the Thief , this guy slithered and slinked out from the knife’s edge. He looks ready to steal someone’s heart or mind, so I thought it proper to let the inspiration become its title.

Big, big wonderful news! My first show! It’s in beautiful and prestigious Healdsburg, CA – a premier destination for the wine-savvy.

My new friends, Scott and Erica Lindstrom-Dake, make fine wines, and call their outstanding family of wines Thumbprint Cellars. There is space in their beautiful tasting room for art (see above), and excitedly invited me to show my work to the public for six weeks starting in early November. Note: They also sell wines on their site! I highly recommend their Pinot Noir.

I will be heading out to hang the show so it’s ready for the opening on Nov 2nd and also the grand “Wine and Food Affair”, which is sure to be 2 days of tasty deliciousness. In addition, I will be doing some live art Saturday and Sunday so that visitors can watch me at work.

So, in turn, I invite you! If you are planning on being anywhere near northern California 11/2-4, please come see me at my first opening and for the Wine and Food Affair!

Original Cut Paper Art 14×17″

It’s either a corny joke or a serious statement. You decide.

Just got this in from my pal making his fashion line. It’s a test printing my design on a white tee. The next one will be on a black short-sleeved club shirt. It’s heat-transfer vinyl, and it looks awesome! In fact, it looks much better than the tests I have done with other shirt printing companies. The art is clean and it looks like it should never come off, even after repeated washings. Previous post here.

Everyone needs a mental vacation once in a while… why not make it happy hour?
